Temperature, humidity, light, motion and alcohol sensors were mounted insidet the venue to record these aspects of the festival. The data was sent to Pachube via a PachuBox, and from Pachube it was retreived by a screen visualization app that presented the 42 hour live profile of the festival.
The installation was a quick experiment, in collaboration with Chris Leung from Pachube/PachuBox, on how and if it was possible to capture the atmosphere through very basic sensors. It was also a chance for us to put the fresh PachuBox to the test and see how it was suited for this type of task.
