The center receives grant

Norrköping Visualization Center C received 2.5 million Swedish kronor from Swedbank Norrköping´s bank manager Johan Öhrn, at a ceremony the 29th of January.

The money comes from the Swedish savings bank foundation Alfa which is based on the annual dividend from its shareholding in Swedbank. Its mission includes participation in regional development activities such as financial contribution to projects that the foundation wish to support.

Norrköping Visualization and Interaction Studio, which is a pioneer and a prototype for the new center, was partly financed by the foundation in about ten years ago. The ceremony took place after a presentation and viewing of this studio and a symbolic check was received by Professor Anders Ynnerman.

The new grant will pay a part of the equipment to the center´s dome theater. The foundation´s hope is that Norrköping Visualization Center C will benefit the development in Norrköping, and the regions around it, in many areas.

Anders Ynnerman has just received the symbolic check from the bank manager Johan Öhrn.
